IVF (In vitro fertilization) injections are medications that are used to stimulate a woman’s ovaries to produce multiple eggs. These injections typically contain hormones such as follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), luteinizing hormone (LH), or both, and are administered by subcutaneous injection using a small needle. The injections are usually given for several days or weeks leading up to the egg retrieval procedure, which is a key step in the IVF process. The goal of these injections is to increase the number of eggs that can be collected and fertilized in the laboratory, thereby improving the chances of a successful pregnancy.

IVF injections stimulate the ovaries to produce multiple eggs, which are then retrieved and fertilized with sperm in a laboratory setting. IVF aims to increase the chances of a successful pregnancy for couples and individuals struggling with infertility.
On the other hand, fertility injections are a broad category of medications used to treat various fertility issues. These injections can include hormones such as FSH, LH, and human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG), which stimulate ovulation in women who are not ovulating regularly. Fertility injections can also be used to treat male infertility by increasing sperm count or improving sperm motility.
These are two subcutaneous and/or Intramuscular injections delivered one hour apart after the completion of stimulation injections; in preparation for egg retrieval.

This is an intramuscular injection that is used as support for early pregnancy and embryo transfer. The progesterone oil is administered in the buttock muscle.
This is a time specific trigger shot to be administered at a specific time set by your doctor before 10:00pm.

Administration of injectable medication via the subcutaneous route. Injections occur before egg retrieval lasting about 9 to 14 days. This may be between 1 to 4 different medications. This cannot be scheduled individually for a complete cycle. You can only schedule for five or fewer consecutive days.
This is the request for a subcutaneous stimulation injection or an intramuscular injection scheduled on holiday or with less than 48 hours’ notice.
This is a one-on-one in-person session with a nurse at your home to review your medications and instructions on mixing and administering the medications required for IVF and egg-freezing. This will include a demonstration and instruction on safely mixing and administering the IVF medications to yourself.
This will include up to ten (10) days of stimulation visits and trigger shots. This will include mixing and administering all injections required during stimulation. You will have access to a nurse via phone and/or text throughout this process for questions and guidance on treatment. Any visits beyond ten days will require additional fees. Additional $150 charge assessed for triggers shots after 11:00 pm)

We understand infertility treatment’s physical and psychological aspects. A fertility nurse can accompany you to appointments for HSG, hysteroscopy, SIS, egg retrieval, and/or embryo transfer. Fertility treatment can be demanding and time-consuming. Rather than inconveniencing someone else, let us handle being there when you need someone with little notice or when you just need a hand to hold.
